After crossing the car park in Castérino, you will find it immediately after the small road bridge, on the left, behind the sports shop and just after an old bicycle fixed like a sculpture. It is marked by cairns (small piles of stones).
The first part is a bit steep, but we finally reach the signpost 390 by pastures and meadows, where the path ends. The view of the eastern face of Mount Bego is breathtaking, one can often see herds of chamois in June-July, and dozens of marmots roaming in the meadows, at the level of the Lower Cowboy.
For the return journey, you can take the same path or choose to make a loop by taking the old military track that indicates the direction of Castérino (the walking time is the same as for the Bicknell path), at the 390 beacon.
