The idea was born while I was working in a notary's office in Paris 7th, while I was dealing with the seasonal rental for an international clientele in Menton and Paris, which I offered as "souvenirs" and products of reception lemons from the garden. This seems to be complementary with the citrus growing project. The citrus project was born in complementarity with my seasonal rentals with the desire and objective, by planting, production, sales and the creation of a blog in French, English, Italian and Russian, to present the citrus Mentonnaise and the benefits of lemon through documentation and reading books, visits to the "Remarkable Garden" of the Palais Carnolès. This project allows : -Rediscover and transmit a cultural heritage, an identity. Re-qualify and redesign the Mentonnais landscape. -Revive the economy by highlighting the benefits and virtues of the lemon. I/Rediscover and transmit a cultural heritage, an identity. As a young dynamic girl, a child of the country, far from my roots, I am proud and sensitive to authentic values, to my heritage to which I cling because at a time when my generation is impregnated with virtual, materialistic and individualistic "culture", I seek above all to transmit my cultural heritage to future generations. Since the 15th century, the cultures were modest and familial and it is in this line that I would like to undertake this project. II/Requalify and redesign the Mentonnais landscape. The implantation of citrus fruits on the Mentonnais grounds draws the landscape. It allows its development and its requalification. In 1887, Stephen Liégeard, inventor of the appellation "Côte d'Azur", described moreover in speaking of Menton "the small valleys leaving to the breezes the care of shaking on the passerby, the heady scents of lemon trees. Moreover, in the book entitled "Voyage dans le département des Alpes Maritimes" where S. Papon embarked for Marseille one day in December 1802, he describes the Mentonnais landscape as a "Forest of Lemon Trees". That's why, why not see a whole orchard of citrus trees planted on the Mentonnais restanques overhanging the Carei Valley (Mont-Gros land), from the highway we can see this land overhanging the Carei Valley. III/Relaunching the economy by highlighting the benefits and virtues of the lemon.
