Departmental Museum of Wonders in Tende

The Mount Bego region is a major archaeological site in Europe, with more than 40,000 rock engravings from the Bronze Age. It is this fascinating enigma of over 5,000 years that the museum invites you to discover in its 1,000 m² of permanent and temporary exhibitions.

In an effort to welcome all visitors, the museum is equipped with sound terminals installed throughout the visit, allowing visitors to be more independent.
A journey back in time to the origins of civilisation, to discover the engavages of Mont-Bégo. This museum, which benefits from the most sophisticated museographic techniques of our time, also presents a rich collection of archaeological objects and reconstructions of scenes of daily life (dioramas) at the beginning of the Metal Age.
