He had a collection of poems printed in Nice in 1712, written with great fire, purity and style, and never wanted to leave his homeland, despite the brilliant offers of Victor-Amédée, who had agreed to the dedication of his works.
He was admitted to the most illustrious academies in Italy; Genoa, Siena, Viterbo, Rome and Naples admired his eloquence and proclaimed him a famous orator.
